Khan purchased the i8 in 2016 in white, and it remains one of the most visually distinctive cars in his collection thanks to its scissor doors, carbon fibre reinforced plastic passenger cell, and fighter-jet-inspired proportions. BMW built only 20,465 i8 units worldwide between 2014 and 2020 before discontinuing the model, making every example a genuinely rare car today. The i8 pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a combined output driving all four wheels, reaching 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds while also running up to 37 kilometres on electricity alone.
