What cars have a 5x120 bolt pattern?

The 5x120 bolt pattern — also called Pitch Circle Diameter (PCD) — means five lug holes on a 120 mm circle. It is the signature pattern for modern BMW cars and many Land Rover / Jaguar models. Matching PCD is required for the wheel to mount; hub bore and stud thread still have to line up for a safe, hub-centric fit.

Is 5x120 the same as 5x120.65?

No. 5x120.65 (often listed as 5x4.75") is a Ford / Lincoln pattern. The 0.65 mm difference is enough that wheels will not center correctly and can damage studs. Buy wheels stamped for your exact PCD.

What hub bore do 5x120 BMW wheels use?

OEM BMW hubs are typically 72.6 mm. Aftermarket wheels with a larger center bore can use hub-centric rings sized to 72.6 mm. Never run a wheel with a smaller bore than the hub.

Can I use adapters to fit other bolt patterns on a 5x120 car?

Adapters exist (for example 5x120 to 5x114.3), but they change offset, load path, and hub-centric seating. Prefer wheels made for 5x120. If you use adapters, choose hub-centric units rated for your vehicle weight and torque them to spec.

How do I measure a 5-lug bolt pattern?
