Kevin Costner's car collection

Only 999 examples of the GT350H were built for the Hertz Corporation in 1966, making each survivor a serious collector piece. Costner's example is a black-and-gold fastback powered by Ford's 289-cubic-inch K-code HiPo V8, massaged by Carroll Shelby to produce 306 horsepower. He first encountered the car on the set of Bull Durham in 1988 and eventually bought it back, as he recounted in a widely circulated interview where he described driving it around Los Angeles and being stopped multiple times a day by admirers. The car has been restored to its original specification and remains one of the most personally meaningful vehicles in his garage.

Costner commissioned this custom F-250 Crew Cab diesel through Arizona-based Lifted Trucks, whose co-owner described the build process to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The truck was fitted with Icon progressive front springs, an adjustable track bar, FOX 2.5 Performance Elite series shocks, and a dual-steering stabilizer system designed to handle the rough terrain of Costner's properties in Colorado and California. City Lifestyle reported and quoted Costner saying the Lifted Trucks team showed him what was possible since, by his own admission, he is not a gearhead. The result is a purpose-built workhorse that he used on location during filming of his Horizon western series.

This one-off Tundra Platinum was built in collaboration with Toyota and custom shop Complete Customs of McKinney, Texas, and made its public debut at the 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Costner approached the build with his own drawings, specifying WARN winches front and rear, Rigid Industries LED lighting, a 4.5-inch BDS suspension lift with Fox coilovers, 18-inch Method Race wheels, and a custom roof rack that runs over the cab to accommodate a canoe or inflatable raft. The Toyota USA Newsroom confirmed and noted the truck had already been put through its paces towing Costner's boat at his Colorado ranch before SEMA. It serves as his primary ranch and outdoor hauler.
