AT-PZEV is an acronym for Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emission Vehicle. As its name suggests, AT-PZEV vehicles are designed to emit significantly fewer pollutants than traditional gasoline-powered cars and trucks.

One of the key ways AT-PZEV vehicles reduce emissions is by using a technology called catalytic reduction. Catalytic reduction involves using a catalyst to convert harmful pollutants into less harmful gases.

AT-PZEV vehicles also typically have lower emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), the main greenhouse gas responsible for climate change. Because they emit less pollution, AT-PZEV vehicles can help improve air quality and protect public health.
