Clarkson reviewed the Flying Spur W12 and called it a car of 'astonishing smoothness and silence coupled with insane power', then bought one for himself. The 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 produces 626 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, reaching 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 207 mph.

It was the last generation of Flying Spur to use the W12, with Bentley ceasing production of that engine at Crewe in July 2024 after building more than 100,000 units by hand. Clarkson said his grandfather 'always had Bentleys', and the Flying Spur carries that same personal weight for him.

Clarkson once called the F355 'the greatest car in the world, ever', and after falling for it on Top Gear he bought a 1996 example finished in Rosso Corsa with unusual sports seats. The naturally aspirated 3.5-litre flat-plane V8 produces 375 horsepower with a 8,500 rpm redline, and the GTS body style uses a removable targa roof panel, making it the rarest of the three F355 body types with fewer than 2,500 ever built across all years.

Clarkson drove it roughly 6,000 miles and, despite eventually selling it, reports suggest he reacquired the car. Ferrari reportedly compared his exacting standards to those of Enzo Ferrari himself.

This L322-generation Range Rover is Clarkson's declared daily driver and a recurring fixture throughout Clarkson's Farm, where it handles everything from muddy farm tracks to village runs. Carscoops confirmed Clarkson owns this specific L322, noting it was registered on the same day as Queen Elizabeth II's own L322 with a chassis number just ten units apart.

The 3.6-litre TDV8 diesel produces 272 horsepower and 472 lb-ft of torque, and Clarkson has said it takes 17 years of ownership before a Range Rover truly becomes yours. By his own admission, it has cost more in turbocharger repairs than the car itself is worth, yet he shows no signs of parting with it.

The GTV6 is the car Clarkson has described as his favourite of everything he has ever owned, comparing selling his first one to losing a family member. When The Grand Tour filmed the 'A Well-Aged Scotch' episode in Scotland, Clarkson drove a red GTV6 and bought the car outright after filming, keeping it in his collection ever since.

HotCars confirmed he purchased the car from the episode and that it remains with him. The European-market GTV6 is fitted with the 2.5-litre Busso V6, producing 158 horsepower with an exhaust note that Clarkson and most Alfa enthusiasts consider one of the finest sounds a road car has ever made.

This classic Mini was a gift from Clarkson's daughter Emily, who gave it to him as a birthday present, prompting him to call her 'stupidly generous'. It is reportedly an Austin Mini from the 1980s with around 39 horsepower, which makes it a particularly absurd vehicle for a man who stands 6 feet 4 inches tall.

HotCars noted in 2024 that Clarkson is unlikely to ever sell it given its sentimental origin. Its presence in the garage alongside a 626-horsepower Bentley says a great deal about how Clarkson actually thinks about cars.
