Every passenger-car tire sold in the EU carries a standardized label (Regulation EU 2020/740) so you can compare fuel use, wet braking, and road noise at a glance. Grades apply to this tire size — they can change when you switch sizes.

• Fuel efficiency

  Rolling resistance rated A (most efficient) to E (least). Lower resistance means less energy lost as heat — better mpg and lower CO₂ on the highway.

• Wet grip

  Braking performance on wet pavement, A (shortest stop) to E. A difference of one grade can mean several meters of stopping distance at highway speed.

• External noise

  Pass-by sound in decibels, plus class A–C. Class A is the quietest relative to legal limits; the dB value is what you’ll hear from outside the car.

• Snow & ice pictograms

  The alpine (3PMSF) symbol means the tire passed a severe-snow traction test. An ice-grip mark (when shown) indicates certified performance on icy roads — typical of Nordic winter tires.
