Speed sensor definition and meaning
A speed sensor is a device used to measure the speed of a car. It is typically mounted on the front or rear bumper, and consists of a sensor and an antenna. The sensor measures the speed of the car by sending out pulses of electromagnetic waves, and the antenna receives these waves and calculates the car’s speed. Speed sensors are used in many different applications, including cruise control systems, speedometers, and GPS navigation systems. Speed sensors can be either mechanical or electronic. Mechanical speed sensors use gears or pulleys to measure the speed of an object, while electronic speed sensors use electronics to measure the speed of an object.
