A tire’s load rating measures how much weight the tire can support. The higher the load rating, the more weight the tire can support. Most passenger vehicles have tires with a load rating of 60 or higher. Light trucks and SUVs may have tires with a load rating of 70 or higher.

A tire’s load rating is critical because it affects how well the tire can support the weight of your vehicle. If a tire has a low load rating, it may not be able to support the weight of your car correctly. This could lead to problems such as premature wear or even a blowout. Always check your tires’ load ratings before purchasing them to ensure they are suitable for your vehicle.
